On Wednesday, April 17th, the Macon County Tennis team played Greenbrier High School. The highlights of the match are listed below.
The boys played three single matches. Lance Elmore won both sets 6-2 and 6-1. Braydee Brooks won two of three sets 6-0, 4-6, and 9-11. Noah Likens won both sets 6-1 and 6-0. Connor Johnson and Lance Elmore teamed up for a double and won 8-1.
The girls played five single matches, winning four. Tia Rush won both sets 6-4 and 6-1. Adriah Scruggs won both sets 6-1 and 6-1. Julie Willis won both sets 6-1 and 6-2. Abby Linville won both sets 6-4 and 6-3.
Tia Rush and Adriah Scruggs teamed up for a double and won 9-7. Julie Willis and Emily Ashburn also won their double 8-1.
