Tigers Spoil Portland’s Homecoming

Macon County crashed Portland’s homecoming party on Friday evening, rolling to a 36-7 victory over the Panthers. In doing so, the Tigers won at Portland for the first time since 1978 in collecting their sixth consecutive victory. Tirjan Named to 4A All-State Team

Michael Tirjan was named to the 4A All-State football team by TN High School Football on January 5th. Tirjan led the Tigers in rushing during the 2016 season and set the single-season rushing record for MCHS with 1,742 yards and 19 touchdowns. Tirjan was recognized as the Offensive MVP in Region 5-4A in December. Please see
