Tigerette Tennis Scrimmages Livingston

The Tigerettes tennis team traveled to Livingston Academy for a scrimmage last week. Girls Tennis District Preview – DeKalb County

     Last year’s DeKalb County team consist of Hailey Walker, Anna Malone, Brooke Roller, Haley Hale, Aspen Flarity, and Chloe White. Macon County faced DeKalb Co in the opening round of the district tournament last year and defeated the Dekalb Lady Tigers by a score of 4-0.  Macon County hope to continue the winning streak

Girls Tennis District Preview – Livingston Academy

     Livingston Academy returns all players from last year’s young team.  The top two players from last year’s squad are juniors Brittany Buck and Jaylyn Hogue. Senior Lacy Thompson returns at the 3 position. Sophomores Bryanne Phillips, Catherine Keefer, Cameron Keefer and Zoey Higgs round out the returning players from last year’s squad.

     Merrol Hyde Magnet School of Hendersonville graduated their #2 player Mary Welch, who has beaten the Tigerettes many times over the years.  Merrol Hyde’s top player, Lauren Heinrich, missed most of last season with a broken wrist after winning the district tournament in her sophomore year.  She remains one of the more complete players
